Native Plant Materials

The Great Plains of America exhibit a diverse selection of perennials, shrubs, and evergreens. In recent years our industry has seen a strong interest in native plant material and consumers are aware of the virtues of using plant material acclimated to our climate. The Great Plants program from the Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association was established in 1997 to promote plants of the Plains that are both exciting and underused in the home landscape. The Denver Botanical Gardens and Panayoti Kelaidis have designed the Plant Select program to promote outstanding plants that are especially suited for this area. Jolly Lane Greenhouse has adopted a vigorous selection process to accommodate this very hot new trend. Our greenhouses will be showcasing both he Plant Select and the Great Plants introductions to help you to find exciting adaptable plants.
