Deer start browsing heavily in the fall! Use netting or fences to protect young evergreens and deciduous trees. In addition it a good idea to use a deer repellent to cut down on fall and winter damage to small evergreens & shrubs. This is highly advised for shrub roses, many junipers, mugo pines and perennials & shrubs.
